There is always activity among the discarded.
/
Work consumes life — Three for us, seventy five or more for them. Those rich Bastards!
Yet, even with our short little life — We out breed them.
Outsmart them.
Get into their houses - Desecrate on their tiled floors.
/
Thrive among their waste. Our colony grows from their greed. Our bellies, fat with their plastic poison  and they still cannot rid us. They blow up our land. Our homes. Our rivers. Our tunnels...
Their boot, on our neck — force — squeezing the breath until it falls.
Or until their machines make death apparent.
/
— But fear not my friend , for every one of us they kill - Sixty more are born.
/
Today death is shared with the Murder; the Seagull, the Fox, the Ant, the Fly, the Capitalist as they gorge on the feast of the unalive. But tomorrow... when the surplus class  gather. When we commune. Share. Teach. Hunt. Balance.. Breed. Borrow. Take the daylight. We make every street ours. Every city. Every farm. Every private garden and oily estate. All ours. There is nothing they have stolen  that cannot be returned… Rescued– Reparations are due from every looting legged lier.

And do not be fooled - this is not rebellion – It is restoration.

SURPLUS: The Rat, the Tampon and the Laughing Gas

When waste is a reflection of our social psyche, discarded life and consumables - become one of the same.

'Surplus: The Rat, the Tampon and the Laughing Gas'  is a short form, moving image digital art project, depicting three anthropomorphised discarded things  - real found objects from the streets of Enfield. 'Surplus: The Rat, the Tampon and the Laughing Gas'  is an Augmented Reality sculptural triptych, presented as individual microsites with multiple entry/ access points.
