Man: We are going to have some laaaaaaughs.

SURPLUS: The Rat, the Tampon and the Laughing Gas

When waste is a reflection of our social psyche, discarded life and consumables - become one of the same.

'Surplus: The Rat, the Tampon and the Laughing Gas'  is a short form, moving image digital art project, depicting three anthropomorphised discarded things  - real found objects from the streets of Enfield. 'Surplus: The Rat, the Tampon and the Laughing Gas'  is an Augmented Reality sculptural triptych, presented as individual microsites with multiple entry/ access points. The films will be presented as separate files: audio, text, film, AR. The sculptures, seen and manipulated using Augmented Reality via smartphones or/and web browsers. DYSPLA makes high end experimental narrative based digital art, using performative monologues and innovative technology.
