Yu-Lun Sung, invited DYSPLA to contribute to his reaserch into dyslexic thinking. DYSPLA artist, Kazimir Bielecki was asked to create a ‘desktop documentary’ to encapsulate his specific thinking patterns.
The 2 films below represent this. The 1st film, produced 13th of September 2021, did not follow the rules of the desktop documentary. The 2nd film, produced on the 13th June 2024 did.

FILM 1 - 13th of September 2021 - Artist - Kazimir Bielecki
This film contains sexually explicit visuals and graphic visuals from Ophthalmic surgery.
“God told me to withhold intuition. Unbridled consciousness brings only terror. Intuition is an unnecessary aid that enables vision beyond the individual. Confined within you is all one needs to live a necessary life. The cognitive structuring that God supplies is a necessary aid that enables vision within the individual. Do not seek beyond what is given.”
The 1st film was produced with focus on the concept of intuition. When attempting to achieve a pure form of Neurodivergent Aesthetics, the intuition of the artists must be allowed to flow. This film attempted to illustrate the diversionary thought processes of the Neurodivergent artist, Kazimir Bielecki. After initial attempts, Kazimir scripted their desktop journey to maintain their personal aesthetic values as a seasoned artist. Unfortunately, the contrived style of film, broke the rules of the ‘desktop documentary’. Kazimir was asked to make a second film that correctly followed these Aesthetic rules.
FILM 2 - 13th June 2024 - Artist - Kazimir Bielecki
“God asked me to “Imagine an eye unruled by man-made laws of perspective, an eye unprejudiced by compositional logic, an eye which does not respond to the name of everything but which must know each object encountered in life through an adventure of perception. How many colours are there in a field of grass to the crawling baby unaware of "Green"? Imagine a world before the beginning was the word.” (Brackage, 1963)
The second film was produced within the confines of the aesthetic structures of the desktop documentary. Although this allows for clearer research, it denies the aesthetic preferences of the artist.
