DYSPLA_WordsNotWalls x Umbrella Project

DYSPLA is proud to announce our collaboration with the  ADHD Foundation, who commissioned DYSPLA to create 19 individual Augmented Reality [AR] artworks displayed over 3 floors of the Potteries Shopping Centre, Stoke-on-Trent.
The art works were produced in collaboration with students from the Intuition School in Stoke-on-Trent. DYSPLA invited Mia & Will to create spoken-word micro poetry and AR performances, a collection of which was then presented as large scale AR Text Art & digital postcards.
These original pieces will be exhibited as part of The ADHD Foundation’s Umbrella Project, a globally-recognised public art initiative raising the awareness and understanding of Neurodiversity.
DYSPLA’s digital exploration is both an innovative artistic approach to uniting text and virtual art, as well as an attempt at addressing digital poverty and improving creative digital literacy in Stoke-on-Trent. In partnership with The Potteries Shopping Centre & Stoke Bid.
