Sarah Hehir

Sarah was selected for the 2016 BBC TV Drama Writers’ Programme, where she wrote a pilot episode of her original series ‘Quarry’. Her play ‘Zero Down’ about care assistants on zero-hour contracts had a successful run at the Pleasance Courtyard as part of the Edinburgh Festival and was also performed at the 503 Theatre. Her full length play ‘Child Z’, about child sexual exploitation, was performed at Southwark Theatre. She won the 2013 BBC Writer’s Prize sponsored by the Writersroom with her radio play ‘Bang Up’ which was broadcast on Radio Four.
